Pattison produces a variety of sizes that meet various local, state and federal project specifications.
RipRap Performance Characteristics
Due to the performance requirements that typical applications demand, quality RIPRAP is certified by the Army Corp of Engineers, state geologists, and Department of Transportation engineers.
How We Produce RipRap
Also known as Revetment Stone, Erosion Stone, Granular Filter, Gabion Stone, Armor Stone, Quarry Run, Ditch Liner, and Macadam Stone. Pattison produces these products using our state of the art trommel processing plant installed at the Clayton, Iowa facility in the summer of 2018.
With RipRap, Age Matters
When it comes to rocks, age matters. This means that Pattison’s Ordovician Dolomitic Limestone is some of the oldest and hardest material in Iowa. Due to it’s hardness and other ‘Old Stone’ properties, our products out perform material produced from outside of the Ordovician Limestone region which is found only in the northeast corner of Iowa.
